A reprint edition of the author\'s novel, set in his fictional Eastern European country of Graustark and issued as the photoplay edition when this work was made into a 1926 silent film starring Marion Davies. With several black & white stills from the film production scattered through the book. Likely published c.1926-1930s, though 1904 date appears in the book.In blue cloth-covered boards with cover and spine titling in black. Lacks a dust jacket.With bookseller\'s rubberstamping to rear paste-down, tear to leaf near back of volume and with reddish smudged notation to front endpaper; otherwise clean and unmarked.CONDITION:

GOOD - Describes the average used worn book or jacket that has flaws and/or damages. (An old bookseller said it best, \'In rare books, Good ain\'t good\'.)
FAIR - Worn book or jacket that is stained, has loose pages, tears, or otherwise has some sort of significant damage or other issue.
POOR - Describes a book that is worn, damaged, stained or otherwise beat-up, making it useful as a reading copy but possibly not a collector copy. A POOR dust jacket is likely heavily torn, chipped or otherwise damaged.(A \' + \' or a \' - \' can indicate a shading of these values...either a nudge up, or a nudge down.)
