This one is a big rare vintage English beautifully detailed solid sterling silver charm modelled on a miniature Victorian Carriage or Mantel clock – way above your average English silver charm – made of course by Nuvo, the great English charm maker who we associate with breath-taking craftsmanship and quality. This miniature clock is beautifully detailed with raised twisted rope effect decoration to the top and the base to really make it special. The face of the clock has black enamelled details. A protective PERSPEX dome covers the silver clock face and movement.
As with all Nuvo English charms it is really pleasing to the eye. A star piece for a vintage silver charm bracelet…… or equally at home in a posh doll’s house.
Measurements: over 1 inch tall by 5/8 inch by ½ inch approx.
weight: A healthy 8.6 grams.
Condition: In excellent vintage condition.
This genuine vintage silver charm bears the Maker’s mark “Nuvo” on the bottom of the clock and is fully hallmarked for sterling silver for the city of Birmingham for the year 1973.
