sale Most of the cuffs I make are constructed out of unusual bits that are recovered from damaged and discarded treasures that were once precious to someone. I make my cuffs in a distressed way (that look like they have been rode hard, and put away wet), and often out of unusual materials. All of my pieces have defects that offer up character.

Here is another cuff with that look and feel of the old West. This cuff is for a smaller wrist. It will ONLY fit wrists in the 6 to 7 1/4 inch range. No bigger wrist than a 7 1/4. The vintage plate is organic, and made of bone, and inlayed with old red coral, turquoise and brass (?). You can tell it\'s old, even with an untrained eye simply by looking at the age craquelure in the bone plate. It has small metal dots made of brass or nickel, I\'m not sure which as if you look at it in one direction you would swear brass, and another direction you are confident nickle. I lean towards brass. The side buttons are white metal sunfaces, and on one side they are a bit closer togther than the other due to the uneven shape of the bone plate. Everything is built on leather, with a strap buckle closure, and in this case vintage leather was used as there are extra holes in the leather that do not line up with the cuff plate it\'s self. But you really can\'t tell that from the front of the cuff, only when looking at the back do you know. The inlayed bone plate is approx. 2 5/8 X 4 (at it\'s widest points), and the leather measures approx. 4 3/4inches tall. The weight for this cuff I would classify as \"medium light \".... so, it shouldn\'t be too heavy for most anyone interested (man or woman) as bowguard cuffs for the most part are considered \"unisex\". As with all of my cuffs.... Folks will either \"Love Them, Or Hate Them \", but they willl notice, and comment on your new found treasure when you wear it.
