This very special miniatureRiminiBlu Horse Head by Bitossi of Italy isnumbered (very faintly) on the bottom #126/1000. This piece, designed by Aldo Londi (1953), is one of only 1000 produced and is in excellent condition. Vividly glazed andornately decorated, it is simply stunning. Please zoom the photos to enjoy all the exquisite particulars of this rare little figure. This wonderful mid-century era figure is truly captivating. Though small in size, it is amazing in its character and design and features that stunning blue glaze characteristic of the master Rimini ceramists. Stands a diminutive 2.75\" tall and is about 3\" long from front of face to back of neck and 1.5\" thick.There is one tiny open bubble in the glaze over the left eye.
