We have an Postcard African American Weighing Cotton ; Postage From Saint Hedwig, Texas on Aug 20, 1907 and Was mailed to Germany.. German writing.The postcard is good condition, on front of card bottom right the postcard had Peeled off during transit delivery (see picture). There are some slight edges. In the town on 1860 a post office called Cottage Hill opened, but was later renamed St. Hedwig after the patron saint of Silesia.
