Original Oil on Canvas painting by famed and listed artist Blanche Lazzell (1878-1956). She was born on a farm in West Virginia and a direct descendant pioneers who settled on the farm shortly after the American Revolution. She also attended West Virginia University in 1901 studying fine art. This painting measures overall at 19.5\" x 21\" with a canvass size of approximately 16\" x 15\". It is boldly signed at the bottom right corner. There is a reflection of a woman in the painting which may be a self portrait. This was acquired in an sale with many other pieces of fine art. I have also added a photo of the label on the back of the frame if that helps. The painting is not dated but I would approximate in the mid-1930\'s. I have seen some of Lazzell\'s art on sales exceed $40,000.00. I am looking to downsize and have priced this to sell quickly. Buyer pays $35.00 insured shipping. Good Luck!
