For sale is one new, blemished*: Montblanc Bohème Doué Moongarden Fountain Pen with Retracting Nib, model 113104; made in Germany. Complete with Service Guide, Gift-Case, and Outer Box. This is a genuine product.*Note: The gemstone is damaged and loose. There is chipping in the upper right corner and at the base. The cause is unknown; but the locations indicate installation damage, possibly because it had come loose and was damaged when reset. The chips are noticeable, though they might be ignored; but the issue of looseness needs to be addressed. If not corrected the stone will simply fall out. Options include either having the stone replaced or possibly having the setting reinforced with a little epoxy. It is recommended to have this performed by a jeweler. The epoxy fix should be a $30-50 job. Stone replacement should be about $100-150 (this is cutting and labor; the synthetic stone itself has virtually no value). These are only estimates and actual costs may vary. One appeal to replacement is the option to customize the color. I personally do not recommend replacement with precious stones as there is a risk of future loss (stone is pressure fit). The pen is otherwise absolutely new and flawless. A fine option whether to be repaired or for parts. Stone damage is difficult to capture on camera but images shown are of the actual pen you shall receive.
The Bohème Doué Moongarden celebrates Montblanc\'s attention to precision work. Inspired by the Moongarden watch collection, its decoration is based on the serene movement of tree leaves under a full moon. The fountain pen features a unique twist-mechanism that actuates nib retraction. The metal body is finished with flannel-grey and gold-tone lacquer. The cap is flannel-grey precious resin with a glittering, cognac-colored synthetic stone set in the clip. Fittings are plated in red-gold. Fine nib is 14K gold. The final touch is the iconic Montblanc white star snowcap finial.
