I have several very early, pre-designer pieces of Blenko but this one is truly a joy to see in person.

It is a mammoth piece of art glass. I rarely handle it due to its size. It is 17\" across and weighs a ton.

The color is Chartreuse - a rare color Blenko produced in the early 1950s. In person it appears to be more of a lime green. Pontil on the base is clearly visible - I have always displayed it on the wall as seen in the photo.

This piece has no blemishes or damage on it. It does have trapped air bubbles, common in handblown glass and especially in Chartreuse glass.
