This beautiful tapestry bed ensemble is from the Flanders region of Belgium, long known for its history of weaving beautiful tapestries. The coverlet is woven on a custom loom designed to produce one-piece, seamless Jacquard construction. The 100% cotton yarn creates a beautiful fabric. The medallion center and very wide border motif is an arrangement of flowers in lovely shades of blue on a background of black. The center is surrounded by small leaves in forest greens on the rich blue background. The photographs present these qualities nicely. The coverlet is 94\" X 88\" and will work well on a queen or full sized bed. Also included with the coverlet are (2) 25\" square Euro pillow shams in the overall leaf on blue design. We have also included a decorative coordinating 26\" X 20\" standard pillow sham (shown in the last photo). This sham features the basic design & coloration of the set but with an added splash of colorful flowers. We photographed this set with a black bed skirt which is not included. The total effect of this ensemble is attractively colorful and resonates with quality crafting and elegant design.
