An Estate sale find - Primitive Blue Clipper Tavern 1786 wood sign - The sign weighs over 3 pounds and is approx. 26\" long and 12\" wide. There are some blemishes on it and also 2 cracks in it both on the left side - one on top and one on the bottom - please refer to pix for these - The coloring of the white and blue is still nice - There are also 2 metal rings on top for easy hanging.
The sign came from an old Antique Dealer in New Jersey \"American Antiquities\". Their sticker is still on the back of the sign (pls see pix)- Would make a great gift for a Nautical Collector.
