Blue Corn Crucita Calabaza Black Pottery Lighter and Ashtray Signed San Ildefonso Pueblo

This beautiful Lighter and personal Ashtray set is black on black pottery with a chrome inset lighter. The lighter measures 2.5 inches high and 2.75 inches in diameter while the ashtray measures 1 inch high and 2.75 inches in diameter. Both pieces are signed on the bottom “Blue Corn San Ildefonso Pueblo”. Given some rust on the chrome plating of the lighter, this set is in very good condition. (See photos)

Blue Corn, Crucita Calabaza, (c.1920 – 1999) was a famous potter working at the San Ildefonso Pueblo. Blue Corn’s work is highly collectible, and it is said that shewas related to and taught by the famous potter Maria Martinez.
