This is a nice Georgian cabochon pendant, dating to the 18th - 19th century A.D. It is made from\'Blue John\', originally mounted into a pendant or brooch frame. As a sample it is a good piece, large with plenty of colour. Sadly it has a chip, likely caused when the silver or gold frame was removed for melt. An interesting piece of \'Blue John\' for a collector or jeweller.
