Very Scarce Antique blue Opalescent cruet in the \"Daisy & Fern\" pattern but also in the blown
Apple Blossom mold. This was very brittle and easily broken glass, so a lot of it did not survive.
Although I cannot see any cracks or chips, I can feel a very rough place right where the handle is attached to the main body of the cruet. It doesn\'t feel broken, just roughness which could be from the annealing process.
At first I thought it was an annealing crack, which happens when the items are reheated after they have been blown. I cannot see a crack though where it is attached, Just feel the roughness at the very bottom of the handle. The stopper is clear blown glass and May not be original to this cruet. It is an antique stopper. I could not locate a photo of the original stopper.Any colored Opalescent cruets are hard to find. 7 - day return privilege with the understanding that the buyer pays the cost of shipping both ways.Please see photos.
