This listing is for an Antonio Borsato \"Titian Madonna\" , \"Madonna and Child \" on a Laced  Pillow Gres Porcelain Figurine Italy 8.75\"

This porcelain figure is by Antonio Borsato and was made in Italy. This beautiful Madonna is a classic favorite of the Borsato figurines. The Titian Madonna was modeled after Renaissance painter Titian\'s Madonna and Child. The figure is signed and stamped on the bottom. It is in good condition with age appropriate wear. 

The lace that surrounds the pillow, sleeve cuffs, and Madonna\'s head scarf is original and very fragile. The colors of this Madonna are  beautifully vibrant.  The detail to the baby and Madonna are life like. 

There has been a repair to the baby\'s finger. Even with this flaw this piece is amazing. It is truly hard to find a piece like this with a flaw that has been nicely repaired. 

Antonio Borsato was truly one of Italy\'s most outstanding artists. He lived from 1911-1982.
