Availabletoday is a One-of-a-Kind Vintage Boston Bruins sculpture/statue of greatgoalie Gerry Cheevers – the awesome last line of defense for the Stanley Cupwinning Big, Bad Bruins of the late 1960s and early 1970s. I have never seenthis item anywhere before in all of my travels and searches within the sports memorabiliaworld. I have owned this item for well over 20 years and treasured it among mylarge collection of memorabilia.

The item israther large, standing approx. 12” tall, 13” wide, 6”deep and weighing 6.5pounds. It appears to have been moldedout of plaster or ceramic and has markings stating “Royal Décor” and 1975. Itis in very good condition for its age, but it does have slight ‘cracking’ ofthe paint in several areas (the way old paint looks on a vintage painting) andhas a couple of very small areas of ‘chipping’ of the material, particularly onthe right leg pad (see picture) and to a lesser extent, on one corner of theblocker. No structural problems, just cosmetic and I believe they could betouched up fairly easily.

The right(blocker) hand is designed to hold a stick, but it looks fine without one. I’msure you could find one to put in there if you wanted to do so. Also, there isa ‘puck’ being trapped by the glove against the left lower pad and skate.

I hate topart with this great item, but I am now thinning my large collection ofmemorabilia and am making this item available to another fan of vintage NHL memorabilia.
