This is a bound volume of 8 issues of the American magazine: \'Leica Photography\', not to be confused with the European magazine, \"Leica Fotografie\". These were two different magazines, this American magazine being published by the importers, E. Leitz Inc. of New York.The magazine started in 1947 and was published 3 times a year.These magazines date from the final (\'Fall\') issue of Volume 9 in 1956, and then add all 3 issues from 1957, and finally all four issues from 1958, the first year in which publication was upgraded to 4 issues a year.
So, 8 issues in total.Good condition with a hand typed index inserted at the front.
Hand-written page numbering (for the index) annotated to each page.Interesting items include the introduction of the first wide angle lens with \'goggles\' for the M3, the arrival of the DR Summicron, the IIIg camera, and the Leica M2 -the \'wide angle\' Leica M!
