This is anabsolutely beautiful vanity set from the Victorian period made up of 14matching pieces. All pieces areauthentic and original – made in the 1800’s.The handles are all decorated (front and back) with a beautiful rosefloral pattern in brass repousse. Thepieces are marked “Essex” with a 4 digit number on each.

The set includesone hair brush, two clothing brushes, 2 nail brushes, curling iron, shoe horn, twoshoe button hooks, nail file, manicure tool, nail buffer, scissors, and smalltray (soap?).

As shown inthe pictures, I have not cleaned this set and will leave that up to the newowner’s discretion. This set inexcellent condition. There is only minorwear, considering it’s age. I don’tbelieve the small tray is an exact match to the set, but am including it, as itwas together with this set when I purchased it several years ago and it too ismarked “Essex.”

I am also including the mirrored vanity tray that I have used to display this set on. It is not an antique, but is definitely vintage, and shows the set off well.
