Very good condition original Brazil Model 1908 Mauserbayonet that is complete with correct original matching numbered scabbard.Bayonet was built under contract in Germany and is maker marked to WKC on theblade. 11 ¾” blade has original bright metal finish with a few areas of pittingand a few spots of brown, never sharpened. Remaining metal finish is alsooriginal bright with a few freckles of brown and a few pits. Wood grips haveoriginal finish and a good tight fit with a few normal handling marks. Lockbutton functions fine. Matching numbered leather scabbard has a brass throatand tip. Leather is soft and supple with some normal wear, stitching andstaples are nice and tight. A good example of a Brazilian contract Mauserbayonet for your collection, hard to find with matching numbers.
