Very elaborately ornate Chased & Pierced 800 silver bread basket made in the Netherlands C.1938. This is an amazing piece, very heavy at over 1 pound (492g) thick framed Silver, not thin sheet silver.
This basket features delicate birds in flight with flowers and elaborate leafy filigree flowing around the center. It measures 12.5\" long by 9\" wide by 2.75\" high.

The bottom has the \"Lion Passant 2\" stamp identifying 800 silver minimum (80%)
Hidden inside the filigree are 3 additional hallmarks, from left to right are:
1. Right facing Lion Passant
2. Minvera\'s Head (looks to be an A on the helmet indicating Amsterdam)
