Enclosed are the shoulder patch of the 87th Infantry Division and the shoulder patch of the Replacement and School Command. A letter in response to a boy\'s request for an autograph. Brigadier General and Assistant Commander of 87th Infantry Division, 1943-1945; Professor of Military Science and Tactics at University of California-Los Angeles, 1946-1948; Provost Marshal of EUCOM (United States European Command), 1949-1951; Director of Continental U.S. Defense Planning Group, 1952. McKee was stationed in Europe for most of the war, and led troops in France and Germany. One inch stain on verso of letter from tape used in mounting. (27147) World War Two
