Library of Congress catalog card number: 52-10063 - \"Bright Days\" ; one of several books that form a series about the antics of the large, boisterous Fripsey family. 178 page fiction on the subjects of family and relationships, life stages, adolescence. Ex-library copy w/dust jacket & plasti-Kleer mylar. brown cloth hardcover. Book looks it\'s 65year age, and is intact, with some condition issues. Considered an \"acceptable\" copy. The dust jacket seems in \"very good\" condition; free of any glaring damage with minimal age fading, and protected with mylar plastic sheet. Brown cloth hardcover has significant chipping at upper and lower spine areas, and advanced wear at all 4 cover corners, as well as top/bottom, and side edges. Dark spot remnants of where the mylar was taped. 2 spots on each of top and bottom covers. Some general surface wear apparent on top and bottom covers, as well as the spine.Ex-Library markings in all the usual front, back, and spine places - stampings & glued-in check out card pocket. The book is still sufficiently bound, and the hinging at the top cover is somewhat loosening. The hinging at the bottom cover is starting to pull away. A preventive tape repair in this area would be recommended. There\'s some writing in ink and/or pencil on first blank page, and on the bottom side of the bottom cover. Some light foxing (small browning age spots) seen on perhaps half of the pages. They are very scattered, small, and do not affect the text or illustrations at all. Pages have a reasonably strong feel, and are not considered brittle. The book is complete, no missing, or torn pages. Set of 11 photos provided here representative of the condition specifics as described above.
