Hat body is a very rough brown wool with a black oilskin lining. The lining is stamped with white ink L. SILBERSTON & SONS, 7 1/8, BROAD ARROW PROOF ABOVE 1916. Inside the sweatband the hat is stamped W D with Broad Arrow Proof and 59.
