Beautiful British Vintage 18k Yellow Gold size 7-3/4 Ring with Large Black Australian Opal. Cabochon stone is set with 4 sturdy prongs and measures 10 x 8mm and has gorgeous green blue play of color. Decorative shank tapers from 5mm at shoulders to 1.3mm at the bottom. Ring has a weight of 3.9 grams / 2.4 dwt. The interior has British hallmarks 850, anchor, lower case \'g\' and manufactures hallmark. Surface of stone does show a few minor scratches otherwise in very good condition.
It would make a thoughtful gift for someone special or perhaps yourself.
