You are purchasing a vintage reproduction of a Raoul Francois Larche \"Loie Fuller\" circa 1900 Bronze Figural Lamp. This Bronze Lamp titled \"Loie Fuller\" represents a famous dancer. The dancer wears a long flowing dress. The dress is wrapped around her body and her extended arms. It then flows over her head. The single socket holds a small bulb that is hidden under the flowing dress above her head. The bulb illuminates the figure. The lamp inscribed signature reads R. F. Larche. I do not know the date this lamp was produced
This lamp was recently purchased at an estate sale. As such, I have no knowledge about its past. In addition, I have little to no knowledge about cast bronze lamps. It does look like this lamp has been rewired. NOTE: I have taken close-up photographs of three areas on the lamp (see phtographs 10,11 and 12 ) that maybe no more than part of the natural casting or manufacturing process. They are part of the structure of the lamp thus the photographs. You the buyer must be the judge of their impact on your purchase of the lamp. In my opinion none of these conditons detract from the striking appearance of the lamp.
Size: 18 7/8\" tall, 7\" base diameter, 8 1/2\" width of spread arms. Lamp weight:14 lbs. approx.
