Verna Preusse Estate: This Lot of 5 serving tray are beautiful. If I had use and room for them I\'d definitely be temped to keep them. However, they must go on. I found a wide variety of selling prices for these gems. From $10 for just the big tray to $45 for the similar set in the boxLot C 2All lots are packaged after listing ready for shipping
Quick research has been done on most items to get a handle on value. I list it when I\'m confident to the worth of the item, then starting priced I hope low enough to still be a deal after shipping costs.
If you have any questions or concerns at all please message me I will respond to all
If you have any advice to help me in this quest please feel free to message me as well. This is quite overwhelming for me so I will listen to any and all constructive criticism, ideas and/or just a basic pep talk.
Just a couple personal notes:
As a businessman, I would never admit this to anyone, but this in not about making money for me. I have fell on to hard times in the recent year after my motorcycle wreck, some other incidents and then mom passing...yeah rough year so paying off moms 25k of final expenses is extremely rough. It has taken me months to even work up the nerve to sell moms items. However, I have no means of storing them. My desire is to pass on her items to their next owner. She cherished everything and as I\'ve mentioned in past postings, many of her belongings were purchased from those down on their luck...and she paid a fair price for everything. Unfortunately for me she didn\'t have the heart to get rid of someone else\'s possessions even though she bought them. I am trying to list everything for next to nothing of it\'s value... so in this immense world of commerce and networking pass these items on to those that may be interested.
There are dish sets and many other items that have not been touched for at least 40 years that will be posted in the future as i can get to them. The figurines are the most time consuming so far, but I will be getting to the soon. I started posting her doll collection one by one, however there doesn\'t seem to be a market for them, so I will take pictures of huge lots and sending them out as such. The dolls did discourage me a bit from going thru all the work to sort out, research and post. Well i must go on and try. As mentioned earlier hopefully one way or another mothers items will be passed on.
Just a note about me, I help raise tens of thousands of dollars a year for charity, with my motorcycle club, church, AA and fraternal organizations I belong to (F&AM and lions.) And at this time i feel like one. My motorcycle club bought moms baby grand piano to raffle off, so that seemed like a great start. A fellow lion bought a terrific slot machine that needs work, but still gave fair market value...thank you :) The really expensive, rare and valuable items acquired in my fathers lifetime were picked and basically my mom got ripped off after dad passed years ago. One of only a handful of time I regret no being there for mom (dang thing called work got in the way.) Well without rambling on too much, Mother was one of those loving, caring and sweet ladies that everyone falls in love with. She grew up on a farm and basically worked/labored all her life and if anything she deserves to be shared. The best way for me to do that is do what I can to make sure her belongings go to a good home and by the graces of God that there is a market out there for all this cool stuff i never knew she had...lol.
Thank you for your time :)
