History
In 1953, three brothers, Juan, Jose\' and Vincente Lladro, make their first ceramic piece in a Moorish furnace built in their own home located in Almassera (Valencia).
In 1967, the brothers purchased a small porcelain factory very close to Valencia. Here, they began collaborating with the best local porcelain artisans which lead to a new porcelain style being developed. These were their first creations commercialized and sold under the nameRosal.
Anoteworthy evenoccurred in 1969, when the Lladro brothers became pioneers employing disabled workers, reflecting their concern for social and labor integration.
In 1975, their collection name was changed to Zaphir and the factory moved to larger premises inanticipationofexpansion. At this stage the young artisans had gain porcelain mastery which were seen in the style and variety of themes.
The popularity in the U.S.A. led the Lladro brothers to find a different business name, Nao. This change would facilitate the brothers dreams of making porcelain figurines affordable for the lovers of Beauty.
Today, the Lladró brothers original small workshop has now become a corporation where hundreds of artists work everyday, producing creations which are sold all over the world.

For sale is a Noa by Lladro figurine called \"Let\'s Rest\". It was sculpted by Vicente Martinez and first released in 1992. The figurine is completely handcrafted.
Dimensions: 7\"H x 5\"L x 4\"W.
