C. F. Monroe, Wave Crest Opalware, Salt / Pepper Shaker. Pattern named Leaf Based Pillar. Has embossed leaves that surround the Shaker. Glossy Finish, Light Pink Wash with transfer decorations in a Floral Motif. Decorations are worn. Glass is Very Good Condition! No Chips or Cracks! Original Pewter Lid in nice shape. CIRCA : 1899 - 1904. Listed as \"Very Rare\" by the Lechners. Valued from $390.00 to $425.00 for a pair in 1996. This is a well made Shaker.
