Thislisting is for a fine, circa 1890, American Aestheticism silver plate water pitcher or by Pairpoint Manufacturing Company. The pitcher measures 7 ¾ inches or 19.5 cm high.
The pitcher features a tall elegant design done in the Aestheticism style. The body has an allover stippled design which adds to the piece. The front and back are engraved with large floral design with poppy flowers; the handle is in the form of the branch. The bottom is marked “PAIRPOINT MFC.CO NEW BEDFORD MASS 1836 QUADRUPLE PLATE”.
The pitcher is in excellent condition, there are some minor fleabites to the top rim of the pitcher, again very minor. Please see the many photographs for more on the look and condition of this fine silver plate pitcher.
