I am pleased to offer this large and impressive c1890s Bronze or Brass French A.D. Mougin Mantel Clock for sale. The clock retains some of its original gilt finish and has a beautiful patina. The uncommon porcelain dial is excellent. Note the ornate hands and beveled glass lens. The 8 day time and bell strike movement is signed with the A.D. Mougin, Star, Deux Medailles trademark, initials OR and serial number 5234. The movement is running and striking properly but I do not know when it was last serviced. The original pendulum also bears the number 5234. Please use all of the photos to help you evaluate this attractive and high quality French Clock. This impressive clock is approximately 17 1/2\" high x 11\" wide x 5\" deep and weighs over 15 pounds. If you have been looking for a high quality French Clock at an affordable price this A.D.
