Description
This listing is for a circa 1891 American Rookwood art pottery, artist signed, high glaze vase. The vase measures 8 1/2 inches high and is 7 1/4 inches wide at it\'s widest. The vase is decorated in finely rendered carnations. The bottom of the vase is impressed with the Rookwood mark with 6 flames indicating it was made in 1891. It also has the shape number and size 606B and the initials M.A.D. for Mat A. Daly the artist. A really nice looking example.
The condition of the vase is excellent with no chips or cracks. There is one small popped bubble in the glaze, very minor. Please see the many photographs for more on the look and condition of this fine art pottery vase. Please note any white spots are from lighting glare and not on the actual piece.
