C1930\'s fancy long black Chantilly beaded lace dress with an ivory silk slip
Appears to have been handmade. Has a belt decorated with sequins in the back, and a lace flounce in back below the belt. The neck edge is decorated with beads.
The waist measures 28\", the bust is 36-38\". Measures 15 1/2\" to the waist and is 52\" long in total.
There is no opening, it is made to slip over the head.
Generally the condition is good. The lace is not brittle, the slip is in good condition, needs ironing. The underarms are worn not from perspiration just from friction I would say.(see photos)
This lovely vintage dress is still very wearable and a great dress for a special occasion.
