This is an attractive vintage item from my own collection.It is an undated early edition (1908 -1910) of avolume in the Romance of Empire Series first published in 1907.It is an attractive 6” x 8¼” hardback with pictorial cloth and 11 of 12 colourillustrations by Henry Sandham arepresent – the frontispiece is missing. As can be viewed, it is in overall good conditionwith some shelf rubbing and wear with foxing to the endpapers andintermittently throughout. This was a quality production with gilt topedge and uncut deckled fore and bottom edges.This is a decent vintage example which makes an ideal period reading copy.
