This is an ANTIQUE CAPODIMONTE (2) THAT IS VERY RARE...VERY BEAUTIFULLY INTRICATE, HAND PAINTED, HAND APPLIED...COVERED CAPODIMONTE CENTERPIECE - FISH, CANDY, FOOD SERVER.

There is a lot to talk about as this CAPODIMONTE Server was Hand Made in all facets of the item. I could not take enough photos to relate the absolute magnificent Antique Covered Capodimonte special piece this is.

Measuring a huge 15\" Long x 13\" Tall x 9\" Wide x 7\" Deep...Just the beginning.

ALL THE PIECES YOU SEE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THIS Covered CAPODIMONTE ARE...HAND APPLIED AND HAND PAINTED. The Green Grass is Hand Applied and Hand Painted all over the Server...the Flowers that are out on and in the Green Grass are all put on and painted by Hand.

The Italian Villa Scene on the one side...the Mountain and Blue Water Scene, the Fish on the Top of The Cover are ALL HAND PAINTED. THE variations within the Green Grass, the Buds inside the Flowers, the Yellow, Burgundy Flowers, the Green Leaves are all both HAND APPLIED AND HAND PAINTED. The holes throughout the Server were Hand Cut with all the other pieces, were completed before the Covered CAPODIMONTE SERVER was Glazed.

This CAPODIMONTE Covered Server has a Substantial weight and is something that will be cherished, focused on and will be passed down from generation to generation.

I got these 2 Antique, Rare and Magnificent Covered CAPODIMONTE Servers from my Grandmother whose Mother had brought it back to New York from her trip to Italy. That is a Provenance that is family based and hopefully will continue for many generations to come.

The packing and shipping of this piece will be so very carefully done, as I do with all my fragile merchandise because I always make sure that each piece that leaves me gets to my customers in the exact same condition that it leaves me....lots of extra bubble wrapping, double boxing, extra cardboard to surround and protect my items.

Condition: chips on all 4 of the Large Flowers...they are have small and much less noticeable... (Photos). The base has normal Dark wear marks from where the CAPODIMONTE server was placed on tables, break front, wherever...not noticeable as it is sitting in its place.
