Up for sale is a unique Marvel Comics lot - the complete CGC graded set of nine Captain Marvel issues making up \"the Thanos Saga\", a story written and drawn by the legendary Jim Starlin in 1973-1974 which is responsible for making Thanos the major force in the Marvel Universe he is today!

The Thanos War is a story about Captain Marvel with help from the Avengers and their attempt to stop Thanos from taking over the universe with the help of the Cosmic Cube. Considering the connections to the upcoming Infinity War movie, this story just continues to become more and more important!

The Thanos Saga (also sometimes referred to as \"The Thanos War\") ran from Captain Marvel #25 through Captain Marvel #33, and includes Thanos\' second-ever comic appearance, his first-ever cover appearance, as well as his origin! Aside from Captain Marvel and the Avengers, the story also involves Drax the Destroyer (currently from Guardains of the Galaxy but not at that point), and one issue features his origin as well!

Each book in this set has been freshly graded by CGC.
