***Some Customers have written to say THEY DON\'T WANT THE STETHO TO AUTOMATICALLY SHUT OFF AFTER 2 MINUTES. Here is Cardionics Response:
The auto shut-off feature can be extended to 8 minutes. If the customer needs more than that, they can have the timer function disabled entirely and the customer will have to turn the stethoscope on and off by installing and removing the battery. The timer can only be altered or removed by Cardionics so the customer would have to send the stethoscope to Cardionics and would have to pay the shipping both ways. Cardionics charges $25.00 to alter the timer and $15.00 for return shipping. The customer would have to call them and get an RMA # before they ship it to Cardionics. Cardionics needs 7-10 business days to perform this and the shipping time would be in addition to that.
