Here is an absolutely gorgeous carved antique chair with inlaid decorative back, a nicely upholstered seat and back with beautiful braid trim and fabulous lines including it\'s lovely legs with original old casters on the front two as per it\'s mid-late 19th century design. This delightful chair came to me through an estate sale held at an old Charleston, South Carolina plantation home along the Ashley River. As stated above in description of condition, this chair is clean, sturdy and in very nice condition particularly for it\'s age. I\'ve included a number of photographs from all sides in an attempt to accurately represent it\'s design, condition and magnificent lines as well as it\'s form, upholstery and beauty of it\'s inlaid back.
This lovely antique chair stands 36 inches tall with an arm height of 27 1/2 inches, a width of 23 inches with 19 1/2 inches between the arms and 22 inches front to back. The set itself has a height of 18 inches at the crown of the upholstered seat with the wood cross piece on the front measuring 16 inches above the floor, and the upholstered seat measuring 18 inches wide by 17 inches front to back. Again, this chair is in lovely condition, ready to add a decorative touch to your home or place of business as is.
I believe I can safely pack and ship this Greyhound if you are willing to pick it up at the bus terminal nearest your home when it arrives for between $75 - $90 depending upon where you live in the lower 48 states. I would also be willing to box and ship the chair via UPS Ground if you prefer. I will also check with several of my blanket shippers including my independent shippers as to how much it would be for them to safely deliver the chairs directly to your home, particularly if any of them service your area and are scheduled to go that way anyway in which case cost might be more economical.
