CASED ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 15CT GOLD & 0.15 CARAT DIAMOND STICKPIN click picture to enlarge CASED, BEAUTIFUL, ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 15CT GOLD AND 0.15 CARAT DIAMOND STICKPIN, This beautiful and elegant antique stick pin dates from around 1890 - 1900 and is made of A 15ct gold terminal (i.e. diamond setting / mount) set on a metal pin. The terminal is set with a sparkly, genuine, \'old cut\' diamond, which has a value of between 0.15 - 0.20 carat. The stick pin is offered for sale in the antique stick pin case shown in the photos, which appears to be original. Please note that the photos have been enlarged to show detail, actual measurements are given below. Please read item description in full.WeightApproximately1.1 grammes (excluding the case)DimensionsThe stick pin measures approximately 5.5cms in length. The terminalmeasures approximately 6mm diameter. The diamond itself (excluding the mount) measures between 3.5mm - 4mm.HallmarksAs is often the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks. The stickpin has been professionally tested and has been found to be composed of a 15ct gold terminal set on a base metal pin.Gems1 x \'old cut\' genuine diamond with a value of approximately 0.15 - 0.20 carat.ConditionThis stick pin is at least 100 years old. The diamond and mount are in good condition. The pin shows light general wear: it has a small area of discolouration towards the top and there are a light signs of a join at the fork of the pin towards the top. The case isin very good condition on theinsideand is intact on the outside with some superficial scuffing. The case opens easily and closes securely with a click.
