CASED VINTAGE HALLMARKED STERLING SILVER \'DUNHILL\' CIGARETTE HOLDER - 1974:

Here we have a vintage sterling silver English hallmarked cigarette
holder made by the renowned and sought after Alfred Dunhill & Sons.
It is contained in it\'s original hard case, and is accompanied by a
number of crystal filters that I understand fit inside the holder. I
haven\'t seen another set, so I guess it\'s quite a rare example.
The body of the piece has a textured or bark effect design typical of
the 1970\'s, and the mouthpiece is rather more substantial than those
that fit the more usual Dunhill cigarette holders, as it has a screw
mechanism incorporated that looks to be made of silver although I
cannot see a hallmark.Please view the pictures above as they hopefully show all in detail.Bears makers mark \'AD\' for the aforementioned, the lion denoting
sterling silver, the panthers head for London, and the date letter \'t\'
for 1974. Measures 7.2 cms long approximately.Screw mechanism works fine. Very little wear evident. The end of
the holder that accepts the cigarette has a slight ding. Appears to
have had very little use.
The mouthpiece has the white spot and is in good condition. Free UK postage offered.I have lots of interesting silver listed in my shop; please take a look
