For sale is an original Carte de Visite (CDV) portraitof a man with a beard, no mustache, with very curly hair. He's wearing a frock coat suit with vest, a white shirt and ascot tie.

Photographer information on the backstamp "...O. Monroe, Photographer, Dunkirk, N. Y. (New York)". Below on the back is an orange Washington two-cent tax stamp. From August 1st 1864 to August 1st 1866, the US goverment required that tax stamps be put on photographs.

2 3/8" x 4", mounted on light cream-coloredcardboardwith double brown borders and square corners.

Condition: Good. The corners and edges have some wear. Soiling and some spots front andback. Please ask additional condition questions before purchase. Thanks for looking!
