Chaika Vintage Soviet Watch.17 Jewel Hand-Winding. A super vintage watch with a lovely golden brown guilloche face.Runs perfectly and keeps good time.Below the 12 reads \'Moscow 1980\' (in Russian).Below that are the 5 Olympic rings.Above the 6 reads \'чайка (Chaika)\'.In very good condition for a 35 year old watch.There are many light scratches to the glass, but these are not noticable due to the coloured dial.Fitted with a new leather strap.CaseDiameter 30mm.Case Depth 7mm.Band width 15mm.

The factory making Chaika watches was founded in 1940 asVolgain the city ofUglichfor the production of precision technical stones and watch jewels. The factory subsequently made watches with small calibres (16 mm).
