Mid-Century Modern sculptural menorah, or Hanukkah candleholder, designed by American artist Chaim Gross in the 1960\'s and reproduced here by Austin Prod in 1971. This vintage Brutalist styled figural menorah depicts a family of six people raising up their arms, which are hollowed to hold candles, eight in all. One person has her arms down in front of her, which holds the ninth, or shamus candle. This brilliant menorah is cast in a durastone material with nice thickly textured detail, and stands 7.5\" tall by 12\" wide by 3\" deep, and weighs 4.5 lbs. The back is inscribed \"© AUSTIN PROD. INC. - 1971\".The underside is covered in brown felt. A true work of art for your home or collection, and a must have for your next Hanukkah celebration.
