Super shiny and beautifully painted and shaded, this French trinket box is from the house of CHANILLE. CHANILLEbegan as a small family business in Paris in 1966 - They designed the shape and colors of their boxes and all are hand painted. They went out of business in 2008, making their boxes rare and valuable.

This one measures 1.5\" high on a 1.5\" round base. The colors are hard to photograph - shaded green blue with deep red on top with gold accent. The clasp snaps closed securely with a strong hinge and inside is white \"tissue paper\" also accented in gold. The box is authenticated on the bottom with CHANILLE hallmarks and there areno imperfections of any kind on this box!
