This is such a lovely textile in every way.....love the pattern, the patination, colors, texture, etc. It is a thin, but not flimsy cotton with a smooth texture...it is NOT thick, and is very pliable....in fact, it is of the perfect weight. A must for the collector of early textiles....I believe it may have been originally sateen cotton. Its timeworn, natural fading only makes it that much more charming in appearance. Colors are pretty true as to what it is in person. Photos taken in natural light with no flash.

This sale is for a most lovely antique French 19th century textile fragment featuring birds, roses, Queen Anne\'s lace. This is suitable for framing, quilting, small pillows, sachets, or even doll clothing. I have shown it gathered and although the print may be a bit larger, it still looks lovely. It measures approximately 8\" - 17\" on either side top-to-bottom edge, 14.5\" on the diagonal, and 9.5\" across at widest point.
