This is a very interesting work. It was given to me as a wedding gift decades ago. I believe it is a copy of a Chinese Export Box and would have been produced in the 1970s possibly. I don\'t believe it is an original. It is marked \"1851\" on bottom. It is though very rare and detailed. It is in mint condition with no chips or loss of paint. It was displayed only and behind glass. These are highly collectible and this is also perfect for an Ambassador or Public Official for their office or home. Three and a half inches high, 8 inches long and 4 inches wide. Very heavy and ornate painting. A highly decorative work with a very impressive presentation, and will be sought after by interior decorators for the distinctive home.
