Created in 1933 by the Swiss cubist sculptor Edouard-Marcel SANDOZ (1881-1971) for the 1rst class dining-room of the NORMANDIE ocean-liner.

Each Cubist animal Was Individually Designed, Cast And Silver-Plated By French Sculptor Designer Marcel Edouard SANDOZ For GALLIA. Especially Designed For CHRISTOFLE. Each FromFrance & Signed O. GALLIA.

Each KnifeRest Has It\'s Own Individual GALLIA Stamp (See Photos)

Created In The Late 1920\'s For The \'CHRISTOFLE GALLIA\' Line for The Use in the First Class Dining Room Of The S.S. Normandy Ocean Liner \'Paquebot\'. Having the GALLIA Mark, Which Was Reserved For The more Avant Garde Design Range Of Christofle, this Set Is Even More Desirable.
