Description:
Circa late 1880-1900,Exquisite Belle Epoque era lawn bedspread with a large central ornate hand whitework monogram,with fine drawnwork and scalloped edges embellished with whitework. A truly elegant set, the diaphanous lawn itself is of the highest quality, summer spreads like this always have a ethereal look. These summer spreads were used during the 1800’s-1900’s. A set like this would have been made for a very rich client who had refined taste.The bedspread measures apprx. 92” by 70’ with additonal 9” embroidered scalloped edges. In very good condition, seems rarely used.There are two matching sham covers.These measure apprx.26” with additonal 5” scallopedruffles. A beautiful set in every respect!This set has been laundered.We have given a estimate for international shiiping. If we can ship for less, we refund the buyer.Terms and Conditions:
