I picked up another large group of old drug store inventory and will be listing approximately 200 items which come from an old drug store/barber supply store that closed its doors many years ago. According to the owner, the store closed in the 1950s, but I have found a handful of items that appear to be as new as the 1960sto 1980s. At any rate, all of the items have been in storage for decades and nearly all are NEW OLD STOCK!! Most items date from the 1880s to the 1950s. If you collect old drug store items, this is an opportunity to purchase some really nice items!
This item is a circa early 1930\'s round tin container of Colgate Borated Baby Powder which was distributed by Colgate-Palmolive-Peet Co., Jersey City, N.J. The tin is full, has a shaker top, and contains 2 oz. There is a picture of a blonde haired, blue eyed baby on the front. This item is in EXCELLENT condition with only light signs of wear. This is a relatively hard to find item. The tin measures 3-1/2\" X 1-5/8\".This is a very nice example of old drugstore memorabilia! Please email any questions.
