CIVIL WAR CHECKERS SMALL ENOUGH FOR HAVERSACKAll wooden vintage/antique miniature checkers set, about 5\" square. There are 2 pockets or drawers contained inside the board. The sides slide both to the right and to the left. The dark checkers all fit in one side/drawer and the light ones fit in the other side. There are 2 extra of each color in case of loss.
This is such a great item - easy to transport, just put the checkers in the drawers and slip the board into a ditty bag (not included)! The soldiers loved to have something like this for all the down time they suffered through in between battles... the kids can sit and play at a table or on a blanket in full view of the public as they tour the camps.
