I also have another Biarritz for sale hence my numbering this #2Royal Staffordshire Pottery (previously at Central Pottery),Burslem from 1885.
The famous Art Deco designer Clarice Cliff worked at this pottery.Shejoin the firm in 1916 and went on to become Head Designer.
This small plate has adesign of flowers in cobalt blue,yellows, pinks, reds and green on a background of creamearthenware. There is NO faults with this piece - no chips or cracks.
As can be seen in the photos, the designis quite vivid andcontrasts wellagainstthe cream.Overall, a very collectable early 20th century Plate from Royal Staffordshire Potteries.Please check all pictures as they form an important part of description.
