For the first few years they were called \"Classic Comics\" before the title was changed to \"Classics Illustrated.\" Unlike most other comics series, they were often reprinted, sometimes many times. The printing can be determined by looking at the \"Highest Reorder Number\", or HRN. On most issues there is a list of issues that you can re-order. This list is usually found on the back cover. Simply look at the last issue listed to find out the HRN. If the highest reorder number is much higher than the issue number, then you know it\'s a later printing.
